A New Gundam. And old ones too.

I got a new Gundam yesterday. No, I didn't buy it with my own money!(Money for Japan) I bought it with money my parents gave me. XD My mom saw me looking at airsoft guns online, she said for me not to keep on going with airsofting, instead, keep on going with Gundams. I jokingly said, "So, you're saying I can buy a Gundam then?" She left the room, and I bought a Gundam. V Gundam! It came with the promo parts and all, clear parts. I will build this Gundam with utmost patience and I will put up a review sometime. When I first saw it, it would go on my, "Gunpla to Buy" list. I Finally got my hands on it.

It's just a cute looking Gundam. Haha. It's cute because all mobile suits designed by Katoki Hajime look good.

When I save up money from tip and all, my next target is the MG GN-X. I believe it's the first Non-UC Grunt MS Master Grade, please correct me if I'm mistaken.

The only thing I don't like about Gunpla, I tend to pose and play with my models--A LOT. Thus, the result is wear and tear, breakage, and other evil things. I just wish they didn't charge so much for plastic, here's what I think, sure, it's a gateway for modelers to make great works with their models, but I don't want to go spending 45 bucks on a seven-inch, plastic, easy-to-break model when I could be spending 45 bucks for a flash drive or sumfin. I also like it better when the pieces are plastic to polycap, I think those kinds of models are always better. I bought the HG Gundam Exia, and its arms are plastic to plastic, they just kinda swing around now. Hazel's arms swing around, and the newer HGUC Zaku I's arms swing around a bit too. Plastic to plastic accelerates wear and tear, because, when you take the model apart, there are little plastic particles that are made when friction between the two plastic parts occurs. Sad.

A great model is the MG Nu Gundam. I love that model. It's the only MG with die-cast parts, at key areas around the body, I wish they incorporated that with most MGs nowadays. The Nu Gundam is one of the best MGs. I had a Karaba Color Zeta Gundam(Amuro Custom, I think?) I was never a whiz when it came to transforming mobile suits, I had transformed Zeta Gundam about 3 times back and forth when the pieces started getting jammed, the plastic bent, blah blah blah!! It's now sitting in a box. They seriously should consider a MG Nu Gundam Ver. 2.0 with die-cast parts.

Another great MG model is Sinanju, not only is that mobile suit a pinnacle among MG models, it's got a great elegant look about it, it's pretty big, it's red, it's got great looking weapons, fun gimmicks, and it's controlled by a pilot named Full Frontal. X( It's great because it has got the whole ABS plastic thing goin' on, making the joints really stiff, I like that, it can actually hold its weapons. For some reason, I think my Sinanju had defective hands, people all over the internet seem to have no problem with their Sinanju and how they made it hold lots of its weapons, my Sinanju could only hold its small beam sabers with out the weapons falling off. My Sinanju's hand pegs were evil and weak! I finally got fed up with that and super-glued Sinanju's beam rifle permanently onto his hand. He can shoot things now :]

Another fun model is the MG Musha Gundam. It should be added to any Gunpla modeler's list because it looks really good. I love its armaments, Naginata, Tanegashima Rifle, that one trident-looking weapon, the model just looks great with everything. I say you should get it because it's the only Gundam that looks like that! MG!

A model I was obsessed with when I bought it, MG Crossbone Gundam Full Cloth, because although it was small, it had so many weapons, it looked so cool!(Notice I say "looked") It broke! Because of weak plastic! A key part broke, a knee joint or sumfin in the leg. Now it's a one-legged Gundam. I guess I over-posed it. Awww...

A Gundam that's been on my "To Get List" is the F91 Gundam, I could only find the Harrison Colors!! I want the original Seabook Arno colors!!! I can't find that model anywhere!!! I need to get it online. I want it because it looks simple, yet, wonderful, elegant, beautiful, glorious, I don't know, it just always appeals to me.
